International Missions

Missions is about the glory of God; and the glory of God is about people. It's about people being transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ and then passionately following Him to make a difference in the world. God works with seeds that are planted, watered, and nurtured. We want to be your hands and feet in places you cannot go.

Joy’s passion is to see the global church equipped and mobilized for global missions. She is under appointment as a Global Worker with the International Missions Department of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, serving as a Canadian-based "Minister in Partnership." Her primary international focus is in Uganda, East Africa.

Since 2008, Joy has been working regularly alongside the national leadership of Pentecostal Assemblies of God (PAG) Uganda to equip and mobilize workers for church planting and global missions, particularly among least-reached people groups. Joy has some ministry time in other nations, combining this equipping focus with evangelistic ministry.

"The spirit of Christ is the spirit of missions. The nearer we get to Him, the more intensely missionary we become."
